Murphy was the Yellow Lab companion of Sage and Kim McDonald. She enjoyed anything having to do with tennis balls and water. Kim says she was so obsessed about tennis balls she was once stuck underneath her deck for about an hour trying to retrieve a tennis ball. Saws, crowbars, and many reassurances later, she came out.

Murphy's special talent was Love. Kim says Murphy was a great companion and very caring dog. She could sense if you were having a bad day or something was wrong and she'd just put her head on your lap.

Murphy died on 24 November 2008. Rest in peace, little one.
