Before participating in the Troop 27 Mailing List you should read, understand, and heed the following:
To post a message to the Troop 27 Mailing list, send email to troop27@danica.com.
Your email program should be set to send messages in Plain Text Mode only, no HTML.
Use your real name when posting. Nicknames are OK only if we all know who you are.
Send NO file attachments. If you want to share photos or other files, please post them to individuals rather than to the Mailing List, or better yet send them to the
so they can be put on the Troop 27 web page.
All messages sent to the Troop 27 Mailing List will be broadcast to all current subscribers. Thus your messages should be of minimally general troop interest.
You may actively encourage and promote the free exchange and discussion of information, ideas and opinions, except when the content would compromise the national security of the United States (or any other country for that matter) ; violate proprietary rights, personal privacy, or applicable state/federal/local laws and regulations affecting telecommunications; or constitute a crime or libel to the Troop 27 ListServ, it's operator, users, any individual or organization.
Flaming will not be tolerated. You should not send any message that you wouldn't say face-to-face during a troop meeting.
