Chrissy (black) and Neeki (b&w) are Portuguese Water Dogs who keep Steve Burns on the go. They are working fishing boat dogs and very strong swimmers and love every opportunity to go fishing with Dad. The Portuguese used these dogs to herd fish into nets...and Steve admits the opportunity to school fish into a favorite fishing hole is intriguing.

Chrissy and Neeki are very good at catching fish....particularly Moon Eyes and other dead critters that wash up on the shore. They also work to set fishing nets and regularly set commercial nets as long as 60'. But most of all they are great companions and spending a day on the water is their ultimate reward.
