Says Richard, "JJ's more than a dog, he is a friend. He fills a lot of gaps in my life since my wife died. Over the years he has become a very good fishing dog. At streamside, he will usually find a cool spot, lay down and wait till it is time to move. He hasn't learned how to tie on size 28 flies yet."

JJ is a conclave veteran and a natural camp slut, he will visit every camp stove and generously offer to taste any and all pot-luck dishes.
